Our proven premium FRP surfaces now have a name

For many years, we have offered our FRP surfaces in a range of finishes and coating options—both as part of our sandwich panels and as thin sheet material. The non-porous, coated surface is robust, hygienic, and resistant to chemicals and UV radiation. Combined with our KL 25 Hard Joint, it creates a durable, homogeneous surface that is easy to clean. Suitable for all industries, it can be individually configured to meet even enhanced hygiene or fire-protection requirements.
GlasPro® is available in smooth and embossed versions, with FRP layer thicknesses ranging from 1.5 to 3 mm. Additional coatings such as HACCP+ or AntiBac enable the most stringent hygiene requirements to be met in highly specialised rooms and areas.
In addition to the standard colour RAL 9016 (“traffic white”), alternative colours are also available on request.

Smooth or embossed?

The FRP facing layers are available in both smooth and textured finishes. Both variants offer the same hygienic, chemical-resistant, and durable properties. The difference lies in their appearance, feel, and cleaning behaviour: the smooth surface offers minimal dirt adhesion and a flawless visual finish. The textured variant, on the other hand, is less susceptible to signs of wear, while cleaning foam adheres more easily, allowing for a longer contact time.

What do the terms mean in detail?

Heatseal Film

For products with heat-sealable film, the FRP surface is covered with a PET film that is permanently bonded to the FRP during the manufacturing process. This creates a dense, stable seal.

Gelcoat

The gelcoat coating consists of a special resin and forms a durable surface layer. It is chemically bonded to the FRP during production, providing additional protection and longevity.

HACCP+

All our surfaces meet the requirements for use in HACCP-compliant environments, making them suitable for use in food-processing areas without concern. For added safety, we offer HACCP+, which also classifies prolonged, direct contact with food as safe.

AntiBac

This is a special micro-silver coating that effectively kills bacteria within just a few hours.
